MDA established this BAA to identify and develop innovative concepts across a broad spectrum of science and engineering disciplines, to include disruptive technologies that stimulate innovation and exploit breakthroughs in science to offer robust technology improvements to the Missile Defense System.
The MDA IS&T BAA, FAR and Non-FAR Solutions, is a competitive, science and technology research program, which consists of forefront advanced research and development technology, concepts, and approaches acquired through scientific and technological investigation. The MDA IS&T BAA is used to fulfill MDA-s requirement for scientific study and experimentation directed toward advancing the state-of-the-art, and increasing knowledge and understanding, rather than focusing on a specific system or hardware solution. This is a Two-Step Open BAA, which provides for the competitive selection of research proposals. The following information is relative to Step-One, which is the submission of white papers. MDA will contact offerors whose white papers are selected to proceed to Step-Two with further instructions to follow.
