- The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region-s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This Request for Tenders (the “RFT") is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for sampling, testing and characterization, removal, hauling/transporting, and reuse and/or disposal of excavated material that has been collected from various roadway maintenance activities on roads
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Appendix E and F.MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, CONSERVATION AND PARKS (MECP) APPROVAL DOCUMENTS OR REGISTRATIONS (as set out in Appendix A - Mandatory Technical Requirements, Conditions of Award):Receiving Solid Non-Hazardous WasteHauling Solid Non-Hazardous WasteProposed Sampling and Testing Protocol: The Bidder shall submit a proposed Material sampling and testing protocol (“Protocol”)For complete bid details, refer to the RFT documents.
